Meet Linda
Linda Belocas, M.Ed.
Founder & Health Education Consultant.
Linda Belocas is a health educator, curriculum designer, and professional learning facilitator with more than 30 years of experience in education. As a practicing K-5 health educator, Linda understands firsthand how rapidly students---and the challenges they face---are changing.
Linda founded MorphED Co. to create the kind of health education today's students will actually buy into---relevant, creative, skills-based learning that connects to their real lives. Her approach moves beyond simply telling students what healthy choices look like. She honors their growing autonomy, helping them explore healthful choices within the context of their own lives. Students are invited to think, practice question, and discover.
Experience That Informs the Work
With more than 30 years in education---including experience as a middle school classroom teacher to districtwide elementary health education---Linda brings firsthand understanding of students across developmental stages and of what works in real classrooms. Her work is also shaped by leadership, professional learning, advocacy, and collaboration with health educators at the state and national levels.
